متن عقد آریایی به انگلیسی

عقد آریایی یکی از زیباترین و معنادارترین سنت‌های ایرانی است که به جایگاه ویژه‌ای در فرهنگ این کشور دست یافته است. این مراسم، که برخلاف عقد شرعی به‌صورت نمادین برگزار می‌شود، با استفاده از جملاتی عاشقانه و پرمعنا، پیوند قلبی زوج را جشن می‌گیرد. در سال‌های اخیر، این نوع عقد در میان ایرانیان داخل و خارج از کشور و حتی در مراسم‌های چندفرهنگی مورد توجه قرار گرفته است.

متن عقد آریایی با زبان انگلیسی

متن زیر نمونه‌ای مدرن و ساده از عقد آریایی است که توسط عروس و داماد خوانده می‌شود:

In the name of the Almighty Creator

I have chosen you from among all the good souls,
To live with you, among all witnesses here.
With these words, I promise you: I shall remain faithful,
In every moment, in every place.
Do you accept this vow?
Will you be to me as I am to you?

Then the bride repeats the following after the officiant:

In the name of the Almighty Creator,
I wholeheartedly accept your love now.
And I say again, before this gathering,
I shall remain faithful to you,
In every moment, in every place, to share this life with you.
Now vow to me, with love, as I vow to you.

The bride and groom then recite together:

As you become my companion in life,
I vow to be with you, one soul in two bodies,
To turn our home into a paradise of love,
Filled with warmth, light, and the fragrance of jasmine.

The witnesses of this union proclaim together:

May this bond be blessed and prosperous.
May this union be joyful and enduring.
May this vow be honored and cherished.

Finally, the officiant concludes with:

Accept the congratulations of us all and this gathering.

پس از بسته شدن پیمان، عاقد این نیایش را میخواند :

O Lord, All-Knowing and All-Powerful, Pure and Sacred Yezdan, Transformer of hearts and Illuminator of eyes, You who govern the cycles of night and day, who bring order to chaos and remove distress, the Giver and Sustainer of existence.

We give thanks to You for granting Your love to these two kind companions, enabling them to begin their journey of life together by uniting their hands and hearts.

O Most Knowing of all who know,
Keep hardships, impurity, conflicts, sorrows, and struggles away from them, and open the gates of goodness, happiness, and well-being before them.
Let each of their days shine warmly and joyfully, just like today.
Keep their table of life always abundant and blessed.

Grant them children who embody goodness in thought, action, and speech, striving to better their family and the world.

May their fortune be as vast as the blue skies, their pride as magnificent as the unyielding peaks of Alborz, their peace as gentle as the wheat fields of Moghan Plain, and their love as deep as the Persian Gulf.
In the flight of life, may they soar together like the swift eagles of Zagros, supporting and unified in purpose, and may their nest be kept safe from all ill-will.

O Lord,
Let the wild poppies of distant plains in their springtime dance with the breeze narrate their love, and let the mountain flowers growing near sun-scorched stones in the vistas of clear and rippling streams remind them of their vows and faithfulness to one another.

O Lord,
Remove enmity, discord, falsehood, and malice from their hearts, and kindle within them the flame of love, truth, unity, and divine joy.
May they, like their ancestors, worship You with the principles of love and harmony, forever cherishing Your goodness, purity, and beauty.

To symbolize this sacred union, it is fitting for three women present at the ceremony—representing Spandarmad (Goddess of the Earth), Anahita (Goddess of Waters and Abundance), and Mithra (Goddess of Friendship and Oaths)—to join the couple in blessing the bond.
One should hold a bowl of honey, another the groom’s ring, and the third the bride’s ring. Together, they accompany the officiant in conducting the vows.

After the bride and groom take their vows, each of these women proclaims:
“I bear witness to your sacred union.”
